Chief Austin Arieja, Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor on Community Development, has extended warm congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State chapter, describing their emergence as a defining moment for the party’s future in the state.

In a goodwill message following the State Congress held at the Cenotaph in Asaba, Chief Arieja specifically congratulated the new State Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, as well as members of the State Working Committee (SWC), on what he called a well-deserved victory anchored on consensus and unity.

Arieja praised the delegates and party leaders for conducting what he described as a peaceful, transparent, and consultative congress that reflected the principles of internal democracy. According to him, the affirmation of the new executive demonstrates the maturity and cohesion within the Delta APC.

“I warmly congratulate Chief Solomon Arenyeka and the entire State Working Committee on their emergence. This is a call to service and an opportunity to further strengthen the party’s structures across Delta State,” Arieja stated.

He noted that the responsibility before the new leadership goes beyond occupying positions, emphasizing the need for strategic planning, grassroots engagement, and reconciliation where necessary. He urged them to prioritize inclusiveness and collective decision-making in order to build a stronger and more united party.

Chief Arieja also commended Governor Oborevwori for providing an enabling environment that encouraged dialogue, consultation, and agreement among stakeholders during the transition period. He said the governor’s leadership style contributed significantly to the peaceful outcome of the congress.

While congratulating the outgoing executive for their service, Arieja expressed optimism that the new team would consolidate on existing achievements and reposition the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He further assured the new chairman and his team of his unwavering support and collaboration in advancing the party’s goals across the state. According to him, sustained unity and commitment will be critical in mobilizing members and expanding the APC’s grassroots presence.

Chief Arieja concluded by expressing confidence that under the new leadership, the Delta APC will remain focused, united, and strategically prepared to achieve electoral success in future contests.
