As political discussions intensify ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Enugu State, Public Affairs Analyst Dr. Ikechukwu Ezenwankwo has highlighted Professor Jehu Onyekwere Nnaji for his academic and professional background in international law and global politics.
In a statement to journalists, Ezenwankwo said the upcoming election should focus on “intellectual governance” and solutions that combine experience with local development needs.
He noted that Nnaji’s experience with institutions such as the International Criminal Court (ICC) and his academic engagements abroad could provide insights into integrating global best practices into state governance.
The analyst also emphasised the importance of data-driven approaches to security, economic development, and education reforms to prepare Enugu State for emerging opportunities in technology and global partnerships.
Ezenwankwo concluded that the 2027 election should prioritise competence, vision, and institutional strengthening in leadership.
