KADUNA — Governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Rt. Hon. Shehu Bawa ABG, has called on political leaders to emulate the ideals of the late elder statesman, Alhaji Rabiu Bako, describing him as a symbol of humility, wisdom, and selfless service.

ABG made the call during a condolence visit to Bako’s family residence in Kaduna, where he was received by family members, political associates, and sympathisers mourning the respected community leader.

Expressing deep sorrow over the passing, ABG said Kaduna State had lost a distinguished political figure whose contributions to unity, peace, and development would remain indelible.

“Alhaji Rabiu Bako devoted his life to public service and the advancement of his people. His humility, wisdom, and commitment to peaceful coexistence are virtues today’s leaders must strive to uphold,” ABG said.

He prayed for Allah to forgive the departed elder statesman and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, while urging the bereaved family to find solace in the impactful and honourable life he led.

ABG also assured the family of his continued support during the mourning period, emphasising solidarity and compassion in times of grief.

Responding on behalf of the family, Hon. Sani Rabiu Bako expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a demonstration of empathy and responsible leadership.

Observers noted that the condolence visit reflects ABG’s message of unity, compassion, and inclusive leadership as he continues consultations across Kaduna State.
