AWKA — Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as Mama G, has commended the management of Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd for what she described as its commitment to reshaping standards in Nigeria’s real estate sector.

Ozokwo gave the commendation during the unveiling of the company’s new office in Awka, located at No. 3 Channels Street, beside Channels Hotel and Suites, off Ngozika Estate.

She noted that the firm has demonstrated consistency in delivering value to clients, stressing that many Nigerians have previously suffered losses due to poor practices in the property market.

The actress expressed confidence in the company’s operations, stating that her association with the brand is based on her personal assessment of its processes and client relations.

According to her, buyers are treated with respect and properly guided through every stage of property acquisition.

“I have seen many real estate companies, but what I like about Powell Homes is how they deal openly with people. They take time to explain things to buyers and ensure documents are clear. Investors want peace of mind, not stories after payment,” she said.

Ozokwo added that as brand ambassador, she has observed positive feedback from clients who believe they are receiving value for their investments.

She further disclosed that the company is pursuing a broader vision, having established offices in Nairobi, Kenya, and Kigali, Rwanda, with plans to expand to other countries in response to housing challenges in different locations.

In his remarks, the Managing Director of Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd, Architect Chibuikem Onyekachi Emmanuel, said the opening of the Awka office forms part of the company’s strategy to improve accessibility and strengthen customer relations in Anambra State.

He stated that the firm remains focused on delivering secure and well-planned housing solutions while operating within legal frameworks and maintaining transparency with clients.

“This Awka office is opened to bring our services closer to the people. We want clients to walk into a conducive physical office, ask questions and get direct answers. Our focus is on proper planning, secure locations and lawful transactions,” he said.

Emmanuel thanked the brand ambassador, staff, clients, realtors and other stakeholders for their continued support, assuring investors that the company remains committed to quality service and customer satisfaction.
