Benin, Edo State — The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has officially commenced a 5-day Oracle Primavera P6 training program in Edo State, aimed at equipping 50 participants with advanced project management skills.
The program, executed by Mathnebi Nig. Ltd, began on March 2nd and will run until March 6th. It is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience in using Oracle Primavera P6, a leading software in project planning and execution, with a particular focus on applications in the energy and construction sectors.
Speaking on the initiative, NCDMB emphasized that the sponsorship reflects its commitment to building local capacity, enhancing professional skills, and supporting Nigeria’s economic growth through practical, industry-relevant training.
“The training is expected to empower participants with the tools and expertise to manage complex projects effectively, contributing to the advancement of Nigeria’s project management landscape,” a spokesperson for the board said.
Participants are set to benefit from an intensive curriculum combining theoretical instruction with practical exercises, positioning them for greater competence in planning, scheduling, and monitoring projects in key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
The program also underscores the growing focus on skills development as a strategic pathway to expanding local content and ensuring that Nigerian professionals are equipped to meet global standards in project execution.
