Governorship aspirant in Ogun State, Dr. Jelili Kayode Amusan, has commended the State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, for what he described as remarkable developmental strides and unwavering commitment to the growth of the state.

Amusan also congratulated Governor Abiodun on his recent appointment as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention Venue Committee, noting that the recognition was well-earned.

In a statement made available to Vanguard in Abeokuta on Friday, the aspirant lauded the governor’s visionary and people-oriented leadership style, which he said has continued to translate into tangible dividends of democracy, across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

He particularly applauded the administration’s aggressive infrastructural drive, citing the recent commissioning of several road projects across Ogun State.

According to him, the projects have significantly improved connectivity, eased transportation challenges and boosted socio-economic activities in various communities.

“I want to commend our amiable Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, on his landmark achievements and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the state,” Amusan said.

He added, “I also join other well-wishers in celebrating Governor Abiodun on his appointment as Chairman of the APC National Convention Venue Committee. This is a well-deserved recognition of his administrative competence, political sagacity and steadfast dedication to party ideals and national development.”

Amusan noted that the confidence reposed in the governor by the leadership of the ruling party underscores his proven capacity to deliver on critical national assignments with excellence and integrity.
