By Esther Onyegbula

A not-for-profit initiative, Dare to Inspire (DTI), will on February 28, 2026, host the 10th edition of its annual mentoring session, marking a decade of empowering young Muslim women and youth across the globe.

The milestone event, themed “Renewed Hope: Rooted in Faith,” will hold virtually via Zoom webinar and is open to participants worldwide at no cost.

The organisers said the 2026 edition comes at a time of global uncertainty, economic pressures and shifting social realities, noting that the session is designed to rekindle hope by anchoring purpose in faith, resilience and intentional living.

According to DTI, the mentoring forum will provide a safe and inspiring platform for dialogue, learning and reflection, offering practical insights and spiritual guidance to support personal, professional and communal growth.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Convener of Dare to Inspire, Bunmi Ghiazat Adebimpe, a psychotherapist and professional wellness coach, described the 10th edition as both humbling and significant.

“We are deeply grateful for the journey of Dare to Inspire over the past decade. Reaching the 10th edition is humbling, significant and a sacred pause to reflect, reset and re-anchor our lives in faith and hope while courageously facing today’s realities. I warmly invite young women and youth across the globe to join us for this milestone edition,” she said.

The session will feature a lineup of women leaders and professionals, including Ini Zainab Abimbola, Founder of Thistlepraxis Consulting; Dr. Aishah Adams of Ed Siddiqah Foundation; Bimpe Afolabi, Partner, Internal Audit and GRCS at KPMG West Africa; and Tope Fajingbesi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SHE-EO.

Organisers noted that the speakers will share faith-centred insights and practical lessons drawn from their professional and personal experiences to inspire renewed confidence and clarity of purpose among participants.

Since its inception in 2016, Dare to Inspire has focused on building confidence, strengthening self-worth, nurturing faith and equipping young women and youth with the tools needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

The 10th edition of the mentoring session will hold at 12 noon prompt on Saturday, February 28, 2026, via Zoom. Registration is free.
