LAGOS — Following calls for a thorough probe into last Sunday’s crash, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, has described the Dana airline plane crash in Iju-Ishaga, Lagos, as unfortunate.

He assured Nigerians of a thorough probe into the incident with a view to forestalling future occurrence.

He also commiserated with the families of the victims and prayed God to grant the souls of the dead eternal rest.

Ashafa explained that the incident was of great concern to the lawmakers, hence the need to get to the root of the matter.
