The General Overseer of Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has assured Nigerians that God will remove every trace of sorrow causing emotional, spiritual, and social pain.

Pastor Muoka, speaking through his Public Relations Officer, Pastor Louis Chidi, encouraged citizens to be ready to receive God’s blessings. He made the remarks while announcing the church’s annual international crusade, scheduled for February 7–8, 2026, themed “From Sorrow to Joy.”

The cleric said the spiritual gathering is expected to draw large crowds to the church’s Lagos revival ground and aims to heal a nation grappling with widespread challenges.

“This crusade will position participants, and by extension the nation, to overcome the challenges of this year,” he said, emphasizing that God will “arise in our lives and in the country to turn all sorrows into joy,” addressing the emotional, spiritual, and social distress prevalent in the land.

Pastor Muoka noted that the crusade will not only offer healing for personal afflictions but also provide spiritual guidance to tackle economic and political challenges affecting millions.

“This is more than a church service; it’s a national moment of seeking solace,” said Dr. Amina Okeke, a sociologist of religion at the University of Ibadan. “A movement of this scale that speaks of turning national sorrow to joy taps into a deep, collective yearning for relief and hope amid ongoing hardships, positioning faith as a central vehicle for national restoration.”

To ensure accessibility, the church has arranged free transportation to convey participants from anywhere within Lagos State to the crusade venue.
