Ada Gold, a talented singer known for her powerful vocals, is breaking boundaries in inspirational music. The Delta State-born singer, who gained recognition after participating in MTN Project Fame season 8 in 2015, has come a long way from her church choir days to inspirational stardom.
In a recent chat with our reporter, Ada shared her journey. attributing her early start to her parents’ encouragement to join the church choir .
“I started singing at a very young age,” Ada recounts. She’s released an album and several singles, describing herself as an inspirational singer , who’s creating songs with meaningful lyrics and values.
Ada is currently working on a gospel album, set to be released in March, which will showcase her appreciation for God’s journey with her.
The singer draws inspiration from God and everyday life experiences. She’s also explored acting, hosting events, and managing a live band. Ada has worked with top artists like Sound Sultan, Chidinma, Yemi Alade among others.
Despite industry challenges, including funding struggles and sexism, Ada remains grateful. “Whoever wants to help you will not stress you,” she said.
With popular songs like “South Side” and “MO Dokpe,” Ada Gold is showcasing a soulful voice reimagining pop hits and original tracks. She’s a strong African female voice featured in Lush Hair campaigns, building a significant presence in the Nigerian music scene.
