JALINGO — The President of the Nigerian Community in Turkey, Prince Magbo, has welcomed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his state visit to Turkey, describing the occasion as an honour for Nigerians resident in the country.
In a statement issued after the President’s arrival, Magbo said he was pleased to join government officials and other dignitaries in receiving President Tinubu, noting that the visit reflects Nigeria’s growing engagement on the international stage.
He described the reception accorded the President as encouraging, adding that it underscored confidence in the current administration’s direction.
Magbo also expressed optimism that the state visit and accompanying bilateral engagements would further strengthen relations between Nigeria and Turkey, particularly in the areas of trade, security cooperation, cultural exchange and investment.
According to him, the visit presents an opportunity to deepen ties and explore new avenues of collaboration that would benefit both countries.
