“I believe setbacks are temporary,” Ekene says, reflecting on his early life struggles, including financial challenges that forced him to discontinue his Mechanical Engineering studies at the Federal University of Technology. This turning point, however, became the catalyst for his entrepreneurial journey.

In 2022, Ekene founded Paragon Prime Realty, a company focused on providing trustworthy real estate opportunities and simplifying property ownership in Nigeria. Despite facing numerous challenges, including limited startup capital and minimal industry support, Ekene remains undeterred. “Those moments shaped my resilience and strengthened my belief that setbacks are temporary,” he says. Today, he operates with a small but efficient team and strategic partners across Nigeria and Europe.

Looking ahead, Igbonekwu Ekene plans to establish Paragon Prime Realty as a recognized real estate brand in Nigeria, strengthen international partnerships, and explore hospitality investments.
