As the echoes of 2025 Yuletide celebrations fade, Frankids Park in FESTAC Town stands as a timeless beacon of joy, drawing families for non-stop excitement just weeks into the New Year.
Nigeria’s pioneering neighborhood family fun park, launched July 31, 1993, defies the odds at 32 years . Brimming with rides, games, and treats, it packed in crowds over the holidays , and shows no signs of slowing.
Stepping inside reveals the magic: kids and parents weave through buzzing attractions, laughter filling the air. From game halls to rides, every corner sparks delight under vigilant staff supervision.
Popular game hall hits like Naughty Lion, video games, Mega Game, Craze Taxi, Grand Prize Star, and Grabber sent some kids home clutching prizes.
Rides such as carousels, boat cruises, mini coasters, terrain vehicles, bumper cars, skywheels, and trains spun endless thrills.
Eateries dished out ice cream, popcorn, snacks, and drinks to keep energy high. First-timers from afar joined locals, praising the affordable, professional vibe. “It’s a peaceful enclave for family bonding,” one parent noted.

More Than Rides: Event Haven
Frankids doubles as a MICE venue with two halls , one for 150 guests, another for 500, offering serene spaces shielded from the fun frenzy.
Dr. Joe Bala said: “I held an event here recently. The staff were very helpful and tactful in their approach. The hall was conducive and their air conditioning was very good.”
Founder, Dr. Franklin Adejuwon, a tourism heavyweight (ex-Lagos Commissioner for Tourism & Home Affairs, National Master Plan architect under President Obasanjo), credits relentless upgrades with his wife, Dr. Taiwo Adejuwon.
Their perfectionism keeps the park modern and magical. In a city craving family escapes, Frankids proves enduring fun is alive and Lagos families keep returning.
