Renowned cleric and Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International, Pastor Jerry Eze, on Tuesday led a New Year prayer session to formally unveil Cubana Millennium City, a hilltop real estate development located in Asaba, Delta State.
The prayer session, held at the project site, marked the spiritual dedication and official opening of the development for the 2026 business year, with stakeholders, partners and well-wishers in attendance.
Cubana Millennium City is a flagship real estate project promoted by the Chairman of Cubana Group, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana. The development is strategically located along the Benin–Asaba–Onitsha Expressway and is in close proximity to the Asaba International Airport.
Speaking during the event, Iyiegbu said the decision to commence the year with prayers was deliberate, noting that the project represents a long-term vision anchored on faith, development and generational impact.
According to him, dedicating the project to God at the beginning of the year was symbolic, adding that the presence of Pastor Jerry Eze underscored the belief that the development would enjoy divine guidance and success.
He said Cubana Millennium City is envisioned as a fully integrated urban ecosystem, combining luxury residential housing, commercial spaces, leisure and hospitality facilities, as well as investment-driven infrastructure.
Iyiegbu further stated that the project is expected to contribute to urban expansion, job creation and economic growth in Delta State, while providing investors and prospective homeowners with a secure and modern environment.
In his exhortation, Pastor Jerry Eze prayed for peace, safety, excellence and sustained growth of the project, declaring 2026 a year of acceleration for Cubana Millennium City.
He said the development would serve as a centre of growth and positive impact for residents, investors and the host community.
Cubana Millennium City is being positioned as one of the major private-sector-driven urban developments in the South-South and South-East regions, reflecting the Cubana Group’s expansion from hospitality and entertainment into large-scale real estate and city development initiatives.
