The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in partnership with Youngrich Heritage Investment Ltd has commenced a one-month training program in welding and fabrication for 30 youths in Delta State.
The training, which started today, aims to equip participants with specialized skills in welding and fabrication, enhancing their employability and access to opportunities in the energy sector.
This initiative reflects NCDMB’s commitment to developing local capacity and strengthening indigenous technical capabilities needed in the oil and gas industry. The program focuses on hands-on training and practical exposure to help bridge existing skills gaps while supporting job creation for young people in the state.
The training is structured in line with NCDMB’s mandate of promoting Nigerian content by preparing skilled manpower that meets current industry standards and demands. Upon completion, participants will receive certificates recognizing their proficiency in welding and fabrication, improving their career prospects in the energy sector.
