NCDMB, Olafrankies integrated Ltd launch subsea engineering, production training

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with Olafrankies Integrated Ltd, has commenced a five-day training programme on subsea engineering and production in Lagos.

The training, which began on January 5, 2026, will run until January 9, 2026, and is aimed at equipping participants with specialised knowledge and practical skills required for subsea engineering and production operations in the oil and gas industry.

According to the organisers, the programme is designed to strengthen participants’ technical competence, enhance local expertise, and improve their capacity to contribute effectively to Nigeria’s oil and gas value chain.

The partnership between NCDMB and Olafrankies Integrated Ltd reflects a shared commitment to building indigenous capacity and deepening Nigerian participation in critical segments of the industry, particularly in high-skill areas such as subsea engineering.

The training forms part of NCDMB’s broader mandate to promote Nigerian content development by investing in skills acquisition and professional development for Nigerian practitioners in the oil and gas sector.

Participants who successfully complete the programme will be awarded certificates, recognising their proficiency in subsea engineering and production.
