Andrew Ifesinachi Daraojimba has been awarded Most Outstanding DevOps Engineer of the Year at the Nigeria Technology Awards (NiTA) for his sustained excellence and leadership in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems reliability.
The annual awards, organized by Beta Media, celebrate innovation, leadership, and measurable impact across Nigeria’s digital economy, spotlighting the most influential figures shaping the country’s technology landscape.
Daraojimba’s selection followed a highly competitive process that evaluated hundreds of nominations from across Nigeria’s rapidly expanding tech ecosystem. Judges highlighted his technical expertise, the scale of his professional impact, and his consistent delivery of mission-critical DevOps solutions within complex enterprise environments.
“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition,” Daraojimba said after the announcement. “This award reflects years of commitment to building resilient, secure, and scalable systems that enable organizations to operate efficiently in an increasingly digital world. Judges emphasised that his selection reflects sustained performance rather than isolated achievements. One panel member noted, “Andrew Daraojimba represents the highest level of DevOps professionalism in Nigeria today. His work demonstrates how DevOps engineering, when executed with discipline and foresight, becomes a strategic enabler for enterprise growth, security, and operational resilience.”
Throughout his career, Daraojimba has helped organizations reduce system downtime, improve deployment accuracy, strengthen security controls, and enhance observability across distributed cloud environments. His solutions support predictable software releases and reliable operations in mission-critical settings, translating advanced DevOps methodologies into tangible outcomes.
