…Embacks on Oshodi-Isolo electrification projects

In a bid to improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for residents, a federal House Representatives member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency IIJesse Okey-Joe Onuakalusi, has called on the President Bola Tinubu-led government to expedite moves for community electrification.
Onuakalusi posited that electricity is the backbone of modern living and economic growth.
He stated this after embarking on a series of electrification projects across his constituency.
The projects, which include the installation of transformers, extension of power lines, and provision of solar powered street lighting, are designed to tackle long-standing electricity challenges in communities such as Ajao, Ejigbo, Ilasamaja, Isolo, Ishaga and Okota improving security, and enlightening the environment.
Fielding questions from newsmen Onuakalusi stressed that “Electricity is the backbone of modern living and economic growth. By bringing light to our communities, we are creating opportunities for education, commerce, and safety.
Onuakalusi who recently sponsored a motion in the House of Representatives calling for a probe into the placement of renewable energy projects across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), insisted that sustainability reflects a broader vision of ensuring Nigeria’s energy future is both reliable and environmentally friendly.
