Lagos, Nigeria — The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with Chelfom Engineering & Construction Co. Nig. Ltd., has successfully concluded a five-day training programme on compliance with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act.
The training, which held from December 15 to December 19, 2025, brought together 30 participants in Lagos and was designed to deepen their understanding of the NOGICD Act and its practical application within the oil and gas industry.
Key areas covered during the programme included compliance requirements, local content development strategies, and the regulatory frameworks guiding operations in the sector.
At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the programme. The initiative forms part of NCDMB’s ongoing efforts to promote local content development and strengthen compliance with the NOGICD Act across the oil and gas value chain.
The collaboration between NCDMB and Chelfom Engineering & Construction Co. Nig. Ltd. underscores their shared commitment to capacity building and human capital development in the oil and gas sector. The training is expected to enhance participants’ ability to contribute meaningfully to the growth and sustainable development of the industry.
