NCDMB, Boss A1 Global Nigeria Limited empower youths with digital skills

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with Boss A1 Global Nigeria Limited, has concluded a digital skills training programme for 30 youths in Delta State.

The training, which covered 3D printing, digital marketing, and prototyping for small product design, was organised under NCDMB’s Digitalisation Initiative (NDI) and aimed at equipping young Nigerians with relevant skills to compete in the emerging industrial and digital economy.

Speaking during the certificate presentation ceremony, the Company Secretary of Boss A1 Global Nigeria Limited, Mr. Mese Ifeanyi, commended the NCDMB for the opportunity to partner on the programme, describing it as a critical step towards youth empowerment and innovation.

He said the participants were exposed to hands-on training in 3D printing, digital marketing and product prototyping, enabling them to develop practical and innovative solutions applicable to various industries.

The initiative, he noted, aligns with the NCDMB’s mandate to build local capacity and strengthen indigenous expertise, thereby fostering economic growth, job creation and sustainable development in the Niger Delta region.

The focus on digital skills acquisition, according to the organisers, is particularly significant in view of the growing role of digitalisation in the oil and gas sector, a priority consistently emphasised by the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe.

The successful completion of the programme underscores the commitment of NCDMB and Boss A1 Global Nigeria Limited to youth empowerment, innovation and inclusive economic development in the region.
