The Tinubu Media Force, TMF, has passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging robust support for his administration and renewing its commitment to driving the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The National Coordinator of TMF, Mr Gbenga Abiola, disclosed this in Abuja at what organisers described as Nigeria’s largest grassroots media summit, convened to promote nation-building through credible community-based communication.

Abiola said TMF had “taken the bull by the horns” by mobilising grassroots media communicators nationwide to counter misinformation, foster unity and ensure citizens at the community level are fed with accurate and credible information for national progress.

He noted that the summit drew more than 1,000 grassroots media communicators and community-based practitioners from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“We have absolute confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and in the direction he is taking Nigeria. Our mission is to take the Renewed Hope message to every corner of the country,” Abiola said.

According to him, the group would intensify strategic communication efforts to counter misinformation and false narratives capable of undermining public confidence in government.

“We are dedicated to countering fake news and fake posts that seek to undermine the progress of our great nation. We will work tirelessly to ensure that the President’s vision for a better Nigeria is realised,” he added.
Abiola, a former Sole Administrator of Agege Local Government, said the Tinubu Media Force remained committed to amplifying the President’s vision in every community to foster hope, unity and sustainable national development.

He further assured that TMF would stay active in mobilising nationwide support for the President ahead of 2027, stressing that effective grassroots communication was essential for lasting progress.

Delivering the keynote address, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, Mr Otega Ogra, said the Tinubu administration had recorded notable gains, particularly in food and economic security.

“The food economic security level has been great, and this administration is laying a strong foundation that will benefit Nigerians across all sectors,” Ogra said.

He urged Nigerians to support government policies and programmes, noting that national development required unity and collective responsibility. Ogra also emphasised responsible engagement in the digital space, saying accurate information was vital to sustaining public trust.

Also speaking, the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Dayo Israel, commended TMF for promoting the President’s vision and policies, pledging the party’s collaboration to advance the administration’s objectives.

He stressed that youth participation remained central to the success of government programmes, urging young Nigerians to remain actively engaged.

Participants at the summit applauded the Tinubu Media Force for its role in countering misinformation and projecting factual narratives on government policies, noting that grassroots mobilisation and strategic communication would further strengthen public understanding of national initiatives.

The forum reaffirmed its readiness to expand outreach nationwide and deepen engagement with citizens at the grassroots, ending with a call for sustained collaboration among party stakeholders, media advocates and supporters of the administration.
