The Nasarawa State Chapter of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) has congratulated Chief Ogheneovo Edewor on his appointment as a member of the party’s Board of Trustees (BOT), describing the development as a recognition of his long-standing service and commitment to the party.
In a statement by the Acting Chairman of YPP in Nasarawa State, Jonah Ode Umaru, the chapter said the appointment reflected Edewor’s dedication to democratic ideals and his sustained contributions to the growth of the party at both national and sub-national levels.
Umaru said Edewor had demonstrated integrity, patriotism and leadership capacity, adding that these qualities had helped to strengthen party structures and inspire members across the federation.
According to him, the chapter is confident that Edewor’s experience and passion for youth-driven governance would add value to the Board of Trustees and support the advancement of the party’s mission.
The Delta State Chapter of the party also welcomed the appointment, describing it as an affirmation of Edewor’s commitment to the development of the YPP.
Chairman of the Delta State Chapter, Barr. Bethel Ifeanyichukwu, said Edewor is “a man of integrity and exemplary leadership,” adding that he is known as a bridge builder who consistently prioritises the interest of the people.
Both chapters expressed optimism that Edewor’s tenure on the BOT would strengthen the party’s push for credible leadership and progressive policies, aimed at improving governance and promoting development across the country.
They wished the new BOT member a successful tenure and urged party members to continue to support the leadership of the party.
