Oba of Lagos, Rilwanu Akiolu, has called for a robust synergy between governments, security agencies and people for accurate and timely intelligence to combat insecurity and other socio-economic challenges confrontation the nation.

Akiolu, gave the task in his welcome message on Saturday to PGF who held a two-day, crucial meeting in Lagos to discuss the State of The Nation.

In a statement issued at his lga lduganran’s Palace, Lagos Island, made available to newsmen, Akiolu expressed full support with the forum in their deliberation.

The monarch expressed optimism that “Nigeria will overcome all challenges confronting her, especially on security,” stressing the need for a robust synergy between stakeholders across the federation.

Oba Akiolu explained that personally as a Retired Police Chief, he has continued to write letters to actors in the three tiers of government to proffer solutions on national matters

The monarch therefore, urged the Progressives Governors Forum to put the interest of the country above any personal interests.

While praying for journey mercies back to their respective states after the meeting, Akiolu prayed for the political will for the governors to actualize the outcome of their deliberation in Lagos.
