Global audit and governance expert, Adegbola Oreyingbo, has been honoured with the Excellent Leadership Award by the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control (CIFC), recognising his outstanding contributions to financial governance, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management across multiple continents.

The Institute highlighted his pioneering work in developing risk-based internal control systems for SMEs, multinational banks, and government-linked institutions.

With professional experience spanning Zenith Bank, Bank of Novascotia, Canada, and SPNS Consulting, Oreyingbo was celebrated for redefining audit processes and promoting governance excellence.

Accepting the award virtually, Oreyingbo emphasized that governance maturity is one of the most important foundations for economic stability and sustainable development in emerging markets.
