Falcons’ striker Rita Chikwelu stated that she and her teammates are ready to make up for the disappointment of not qualifying for the London 2012 Olympics.

The Falcons are in Harare, this weekend to confront their Zimbabwean counterparts in the African Women Championship qualifiers. Chikwelu stated that that the Falcons remain the best team in Africa and they are out to do well in the match.

“I am also very disappointed that we missed out at the Olympic Games but we will make up for that by qualifying for the AWC in Equatorial Guinea and the women world cup in Canada.
