ADO-EKITI— EKITI State Government, yesterday, resumed the second phase of its demolition in Ado-Ekiti, ahead of the planned dualisation of some township roads, even as State Police Command  deployed Armoured Personnel Carriers, APCs, and armed policemen to the major spots where the road project is to take place.

The government had few months ago marked some structures in the town to give way for the second phase of the dualisation.

Some of the affected areas are the roads on Old Garage via Okeyinmi and Ojumose, where property owners of the proposed structures had been compensated.
