17ASUS Resources Ltd., in partnership with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has successfully concluded a specialised training programme on Local Content Compliance in Procurement and Tendering. The capacity-building session, held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, wrapped up on November 28, 2025.
The programme was designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively navigate local content requirements in procurement and tendering processes across Nigeria’s oil and gas industry. Organisers said the training aligns with NCDMB’s long-standing mandate to deepen local content development and expand indigenous participation in the sector.

Key areas covered during the training included:
Local content regulations and policy frameworks
Compliance strategies and industry best practices
Procurement planning and tendering procedures
Contract management and supplier development
Chief Operating Officer of 17ASUS Resources Ltd., Abiola Akindolire, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as consistent support for the board and its capacity-building initiatives.
Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, reaffirmed the board’s commitment to promoting programmes that strengthen local capacity, ensure regulatory compliance, and boost the competitiveness of Nigerian companies in the oil and gas value chain.
The training forms part of NCDMB’s broader efforts to enhance the capabilities of indigenous businesses and professionals, with the ultimate goal of expanding local participation in the industry and driving national economic growth.
