…..Commends Anambra’s residents for peaceful conduct

A presidential aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ada Kate Uchegbu, has congratulated Prof. Charles Soludo on his victory in the Anambra State governorship election, describing his re-election as a triumph of democracy and the will of the people.
In a statement personally signed by Uchegbu, she lauded the people of Anambra for demonstrating maturity, peace, and civic responsibility throughout the election process.
Uchegbu who is a former governorship aspirant and an indigene of Anambra, noted that the conduct of voters, security agents, and electoral officials reflected the growing political awareness and democratic strength of the South-East region.
She further urged the governor to focus on inclusive governance, youth empowerment, and infrastructural renewal to further position Anambra as a model state in Nigeria’s democratic and economic progress.
The presidential hopeful, however, reaffirmed her commitment to the empowerment of women and youth in leadership across Nigeria, emphasizing that peace and credible elections remain the bedrock of a just and prosperous nation.
“I sincerely congratulate Professor Charles Soludo on his well-deserved victory and the people of Anambra State for conducting themselves peacefully and orderly. The election has once again shown that our democracy can thrive when the people’s voice is allowed to prevail
“Anambra has always been a beacon of enlightenment, enterprise, and innovation. I believe Governor Soludo’s leadership will consolidate these strengths and inspire other states to emulate Anambra’s democratic example,” she added.
