Golden Gate Investments, a Canada-based wealth-building firm has unveiled a range of investment platforms designed to help Nigerians build sustainable wealth and access global opportunities urging high-net-worth individuals to diversify their portfolios through safe, real-estate–backed investments abroad.
Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Enofe said the company is opening “doors of opportunity” for Nigerian investors seeking stability amid Nigeria’s rising inflation and volatile financial climate.
“What we tell investors is diversify your funds; don’t put all your funds in one investment. That’s why we’re giving you the opportunity to invest with us in Golden Gate Investments. All our investments are backed by Canadian real estate,” Enofe said.
He noted that with inflation in Nigeria reportedly at 80.7%, compared to 2% in Canada, Nigerians need safer offshore options that still allow them to bring funds home for personal and business use.
“You’re not taking the money away from Nigeria. You’re improving it in a stable economy and bringing it back to spend in Nigeria for yourself and your family,” he added.
He further highlighted that Golden Gate Investments also provides structured pathways for Nigerians seeking residency opportunities in Canada.
“You can invest, gain a primary residence in Canada, and still run your life and business in Nigeria. It helps your children too you don’t pay international school fees, and you avoid all the challenges international students face after graduation,” he said.
“For now, the company is targeting high-net-worth individuals in its first phase. These are exclusive investments. We’re just looking for only 200 investors in the first round,” Nafi disclosed, adding that the firm is already in discussions with Nigerian regulatory bodies to open the investment window to the general public.
Enofe said the company had introduced four strategic investment pathways that combined profitability, stability and long-term value creation.
“At Golden Gate Investments Inc., we believe in building wealth with security, stability and long-term vision.
“Our goal is to make global investment accessible to Nigerians while offering them the confidence of partnering with a trusted and regulated institution,” he said.
According to him, the first opportunity is the Private Mortgage Fund which allows investors to earn steady returns through investments in Canadian mortgages backed by prime real estate.
This, he said, offers consistent income and capital protection.
“The second is Home Purchase in Canada which will enable Nigerians to own properties abroad with end-to-end support in acquisition, financing and property management.
“This will make it ideal for families and individuals seeking to expand their asset base internationally to do so
“The Real Estate Fund is another vehicle that provides investors with exposure to a professionally managed portfolio of high-performing Canadian properties.
“This fund offers diversification benefits and stable long-term growth to clients,” he said.
According to Enofe, the fourth initiative, Invest and Pathway to Canadian Permanent Residency, allows Nigerians to grow their wealth while gaining the potential for Canadian permanent residency for themselves and their families.
“This programme goes beyond finance. It is about empowerment.
“We are offering Nigerians a chance to build global wealth while opening doors to international opportunities,” he said.
He gave an assurance that all investment options were structured under Canada’s transparent financial regulatory system, ensuring security and compliance for all participants.
He expressed the commitment of the company to bridging the gap between African investors and the global real estate market, while supporting wealth creation through reliable and innovation-driven platforms.
He stressed that despite growing interest, Golden Gate maintains strict compliance with financial regulations.
“We are not here to help anybody wash money. No. We have lawyers who verify every investor’s source of income. We have integrity to protect and we report to the Canadian government,” he emphasized.
He dismissed concerns about the difficulties of moving funds, describing them instead as opportunities.
“Challenges are open doors. We see them as room for growth, not problems,” he said, noting that inflow of funds into Nigeria remains easy for their category of investors.
He added that most of their clients “do not need the money in five or six years; they want to build generational wealth and secure capital for their children.”
Responding to questions on local investment, Enofe revealed that the company has already registered Golden Gate Partners Limited in Nigeria and is awaiting SEC licensing.
“Yes, we plan to replicate our model here. We understand the challenges in the Nigerian market, but we don’t fear challenges we see them as opportunities,” he said.
On potential risks associated with Nigeria’s unstable economy, Nafi explained that the firm raises debt, not shares or bonds.
“Your funds are secured and backed by Canadian real estate. In terms of risks or challenges, there are really not many to be afraid of because this is debt we have to pay back,” he assured.
“Golden Gate Investments will host a press webinar on November 29, where Enofe says more Nigerians will be educated on global investment opportunities.
“Our purpose is to educate Nigerians that there are opportunities available to you, not just in Nigeria but in Canada as well,” he said.
