The traditional ruler of Ogugu Ntu Egbenese Ancient Kingdom in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, His Royal Highness Igwe Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr., has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dr. Kingsley Udeh as the substantive Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology.

In a congratulatory statement issued in Enugu on Friday, the monarch described Dr. Udeh’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of a career defined by excellence, discipline, and a steadfast commitment to national development.

He noted that Nigeria is set to benefit from the expertise of one of Enugu’s finest intellectuals, adding that Dr. Udeh has consistently demonstrated passion for progress, innovation, and transformation in every role he has undertaken. He hailed him as a visionary leader whose dedication to service will reflect strongly in his new national assignment.

Igwe Ogbonna also commended Enugu State Governor, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for the confidence and support he extended to Dr. Udeh during his tenure as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. He said the governor’s leadership style—marked by the promotion of young and competent individuals—has once again positioned Enugu State in the spotlight of national recognition.

He further praised President Tinubu for identifying and appointing a man whose intellect and experience will drive advancement in the nation’s science and technology sector.
