NDLEA nabs 41 drug pushers in Delta

Asaba—Operatives of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, in Delta State, have arrested 41 suspects in connection with various drug offences. They included a woman caught with 10 grammes of substance suspected to be cocaine.

NDLEA state commandant,  Mr. Okey Ihebom, told reporters at Ogwashi Uku, Delta State, that the command also impounded 130.75 kilogrammes of substance  suspected to be cannabis between February  and April this year.

He said that among the arrested suspects was a notorious drug pusher, arrested on a tip off with 10 grammes of cocaine concealed in a purse.

The NDLEA boss warned dealers in hard drugs to leave the state or be ready to face the law as his men were battle ready for them.
