The Chairman, Anambra State Civil Service Commission and President General, Achina Town Union, Mr. Tony Ezenwaka, has expressed delight in the giant strides the state has made 34 years after its creation.

Felicitating with the governor, government and people of the state, Mr. Ezenwaka noted with pride the transformation of the State in all sectors of the economy within the period.

The CSC boss made particular reference to Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s administration which has improved all sectors of the economy and recorded appreciable development impact in the 3 Senatorial Zones of the state.

Mr. Ezenwaka spoke from the angle of the Civil Service and traced the glorious rise of the state civil service commission office headquarters from a glorified mini office complex to a recently upgraded modern office complex.

According to him, Soludo’s administration has occasioned the renovation of the hitherto one storied obsolete commission’s headquarters and transformed it into a modern edifice.

He appreciated the governor for improving the welfare of workers and pensioners in the state through enhanced salary package, payment of pensions and gratuities and ensuring that civil servants get their entitlements in their promotions, transfers, payment of their leave allowances, conversions, among others.

Under his watch, and having served in the Commission before his retirement as a permanent secretary, Mr. Ezenwaka assured workers that no stone will be left unturned towards ensuring that their rights will not be swept under the carpet.

In all, the Commission’s Chairman expressed delight that under Soludo’s administration Anambra State is on the path of progress and is marching strongly to the promised land.
