Orovworere of Effurun-Otor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Avwerotakpo Michael Eyareya (JP), Eyareya II , has promised to promote peace in his kingdom.

He gave this assurance when he was presented with his staff of office thus signaling the final stage of his coronation as the monarch of the kingdom .

The monarch who spoke through the Eldest Chief of Effurun-Otor Kingdom, Jonathan Duku thanked the Delta state government for the presentation , saying that the staff of office to the Orovworere of Effutun-Otor kingdom Eyareya II marked the climax of the coronation of the monarch in accordance with the Edit of 1979 and the constitution of Effutun-Otor kingdom.

He also enjoined the government to fix the Effutun-Otor main access road and build a befitting palace for the kingdom.

Deputy governor of the state Sir Monday Onyeme, made the presentation for the government.

Also speaking, chairman Ughelli South local government, Hon Lucky Avweromre.and others thanked the governor and also congratulated the new monarch.
