Kwara state government has requested members of the public to seek approval from the designated authority before tampering with any of the state-owned water facilities across the state.

It also warned that anyone under any guise who is found tampering with the facilities would be dealt with according to the law.

Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade said this in a statement he issued to journalists in Ilorin on Saturday

“The state government wishes to warn residents against tampering with any state-owned water facilities.

“Anyone who tampers with the state-owned water facilities without approval from the designated authority will be dealt with according to law”said the terse statement.
