Prince Sunday Oke, Senior Special Assistant to the outgoing Chairman of Badagry-West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has congratulated Hon. Rauf Ibrahim Kayode Yemaren on his victory in the just-concluded local government elections, describing the win as a reflection of the will and confidence of the people.

Yemaren, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, emerged victorious in the Saturday council poll, securing his position as the Chairman-Elect of Badagry-West LCDA alongside five Councillor-Elects.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Oke praised the electorate for their active participation and trust in the APC’s leadership vision. He described the outcome as a divine endorsement of the party’s commitment to continued development in the council area.

“This victory is a testament to the unwavering support and dedication of the people of Badagry West, and it is only fitting that we ascribe it to the will of Almighty God,” Oke said.

Oke also acknowledged the strategic influence of Hon. Bamgbose Hontonyon Joseph, the Apex Leader of APC in Badagry West, crediting his steadfast leadership for the party’s electoral success.

“His unwavering support and leadership played a crucial role in ensuring the victory of Yemaren as the candidate of our great party. We are truly blessed to have a leader like him in our community.”

He further lauded the outgoing Chairman, Hon. Joseph Gbenu, for his contributions to the council’s development, noting that his achievements laid a solid foundation for the incoming administration.

“His dedication and hard work have set a strong foundation for the future of Badagry West,” Oke remarked, expressing optimism that Yemaren would build on that legacy.

Oke concluded his message with an appeal for unity and continued support as the new leadership prepares to take office.

“As we welcome the incoming Chairman, I have no doubt that he will exceed our expectations and lead Badagry West towards greatness. With his passion, experience, and vision, our community will experience unprecedented growth and development.”

The APC’s clean sweep in Badagry-West LCDA reflects broader grassroots support as local government elections continue to unfold across Lagos State.
