LAGOS — The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate for Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, Prince Lanre Sanusi (PLS), has pledged to uplift the standard of living for residents if elected in the upcoming July 12 Local Government elections in Lagos State.

Speaking at the APC Grand Finale Mega Rally held on Wednesday at Apple Junction, Mile 2, Sanusi assured constituents of his commitment to improving road infrastructure, ensuring adequate security, and driving community development across the council area.

The rally was attended by key APC stakeholders, including Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, traditional rulers, party faithful, market leaders, and members of various community associations.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Sanusi said: “My good people of Amuwo Odofin, I stand before you today not just as a candidate, but as your brother, your son, your friend, and a servant ready to work.

“Today is not about me—it’s about us. It’s about our future, our children, our mothers and fathers, our youth, our elders, our dreams, and our hope for a better Amuwo Odofin.

“This campaign is a movement. It is a call to service. I am answering that call with everything in me.”

He emphasized that his vision for Amuwo-Odofin includes better road networks, youth empowerment, support for women, environmental protection, and inclusive development.

“We are not here to make empty promises. We are here to build trust and restore dignity to leadership,” he added.

Sanusi acknowledged the challenges ahead but assured residents of his readiness and dedication to serve:

“I am not perfect, but I am present, I am committed, and I am ready. As we approach the 12th of July, I ask for your vote—not because I am the loudest voice, but because I have the most willing heart.

“A vote for me is a vote for leadership that listens, that works, and that serves. I promise you, I will not let you down.”

He concluded with a call for collective action, urging residents to vote for all APC candidates across the 57 local government areas and LCDAs:

“Let us make history together. Let us write a new story for Amuwo Odofin—one of progress, unity, and prosperity. Yes, we can. Yes, we will. Yes, we move.”
