The Delta State Government, through the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment, has announced the second edition of the Delta State Creative & Entertainment Summit. Following a successful maiden edition last year at Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, this year’s summit promises a larger and more dynamic gathering of creative professionals, entertainment executives, and government stakeholders.

According to promotional materials released via the official government social media pages, a lineup of top industry names will headline the event. They include veteran comedian Gordons, singer Harrysong, ace comedian AY, and Mavin Records President Tega Oghenejobo. Popular Delta-born singer Victor AD will also grace the occasion.

Adding to the excitement, Nollywood icon Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) will return for his second appearance at the summit. His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, is expected to attend as a special guest, alongside key government officials and entertainment industry leaders.

Special Assistant on Entertainment, Amb. Prayer Pemu, revealed that this year’s summit would include a skills acquisition and training program aimed at empowering creatives across Delta. The initiative, he noted, is in alignment with the Governor’s MORE Agenda for youth empowerment and economic growth.

The summit is slated for July, with the exact date to be confirmed soon.
