FIFA has announced that global music stars J Balvin, Doja Cat, and Tems will perform during the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup Final Halftime Show, set to take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey.
The landmark show, which marks the debut of a halftime performance at a FIFA club competition, is expected to be broadcast globally, coinciding with the tournament’s final match — a historic moment that will crown the world’s first official FIFA club champion under the revamped 32-team format.
Curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, the performance is part of an effort to spotlight access to education through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a new initiative aiming to raise $100 million to support quality learning opportunities for children around the world.
“This is a historic moment—for me, for Latin culture, and for every kid who dreams big,” said Colombian artist J Balvin, while Nigerian singer Tems added, “We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment — to celebrate football and the unity that music brings.”
The new FIFA initiative was unveiled earlier this year at the Global Citizen NOW Summit. FIFA President Gianni Infantino emphasized the partnership’s purpose: “Together we are going to make history on a special occasion where football and music unite the world.”
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is set to be the largest global club tournament to date in terms of audience reach, with fans from around the world tuning in for both the football and the music.
