After years of navigating the fast-paced corridors of corporate Nigeria, Okeke Esther Ada, a seasoned brand strategist and marketing professional, is forging a new path. She’s shifting gears from conventional KPIs and boardroom metrics to something far more transformational: building platforms that center people, purpose, and long-term impact.

“I’ve lived through the politics, the pressure, and the praise that doesn’t always translate to recognition,” Okeke reflects. “Now, I’m building something to help others survive it – with clarity, dignity, and strategy.”

With a career rooted in market research, brand development, corporate communications, and CSR, Okeke served as Brand Manager, Corporate Sales at one of Nigeria’s leading FMCG organization. But her real superpower lies in turning corporate tools into vehicles for change.

She led the creation of Crown Flour Angels, a CSR initiative that has trained over 1,000 women across Lagos, Abuja, and Kano in bakery and entrepreneurship. What began as a mere idea evolved into a nationwide movement, giving women the tools to build businesses, support their families, and become brand ambassadors.

“That’s impact marketing,” she says. “We moved from brand awareness to brand accountability where commerce meets community, and products become platforms for social good.”

Inspired by her experiences and the gaps she’s seen in leadership, inclusion, and recognition; Okeke launched Corporate Barddie, a bold vision that offers unfiltered insights into navigating workplace politics, reclaiming your corporate voice, and building a career with purpose. The platform will provide career guidance, CSR consulting, and leadership strategy through its upcoming website.

Her academic credentials reflect her commitment to excellence: a BSc and MSc in Economics, a second Master’s in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, and ACCA certification. She has also submitted her application for a Ph.D. in Corporate-Social Ecosystems.

“There’s a lot that gets swept under the carpet in corporate spaces, unspoken power dynamics, performative leadership, and quiet toxicity that slowly erodes drive and ambition,” Okeke says.

“I’ve lived it. And now I’m building something that helps others survive it; with clarity, courage, and community. That’s what the Corporate Barddie vision is all about.”

From boardroom wins to community-driven milestones, Okeke is redefining what success looks like for the modern professional; one that blends leadership with legacy, strategy with soul, and ambition with impact.
