APC leaders meet in Bende: Ikenna Ukwa, Ononogbu discuss Party unity and 2027 strategy

The Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, Hon. Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, led a delegation of APC stakeholders from Ohafia and Arochukwu Local Government Areas on a familiarization visit to the Abia State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, at his residence in Nkpa, Bende LGA, Abia State.

The meeting, held in a cordial and collaborative atmosphere, provided both leaders the opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest and deliberate on strategies for strengthening the party’s prospects in Abia State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Dr. Ononogbu warmly welcomed Hon. Ukwa and commended him for his commitment to the ideals of the APC. He praised Ukwa’s track record of service to the party and his impactful contributions to both community development and governance.

Highlighting the importance of party unity and cooperation, Dr. Ononogbu noted that Ukwa’s active involvement would be crucial to the APC’s success in future elections. “Your leadership and consistency are vital as we build a stronger, more cohesive party structure in Abia State,” he said.
