For the role he has played in improving access to drinking water in the rural regions, Suleiman Mustapha emerged the winner of the recent JOM Charity Awards, commonly known as JOMCA Awards. The award was presented in recognition of his funding and installation of water purification technologies to address the lack of water and poor water quality in the target communities.

The award highlights Mustapha’s contribution towards the development of sustainable solutions to water treatment aimed at reducing the incidence of waterborne diseases. His work has been behind the improvement of health outcomes among communities through the availability of affordable and permanent sources of clean water in regions where clean water remains a significant challenge.
