2nd Anniversary: TYGF president, Kevin felicitates Tinubu

…says youths carried along, stimulates economic devt

ABUJA – THE National President, Tinubu Young Generation Forum, TYGF, Hon Prince Kevin Timothy, Thursday, felicitated with President Bola Tinubu on his second anniversary in office with remarkable economic developmental programmes and projects, including youth inclusiveness under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Kevin speaking on behalf of the group in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary of the Forum, Taiwo Akindolu, described Tinubu’s achievements as a milestone that marks a significant period of dedicated service and transformative leadership-under-his administration, therefore, pointed out some critical programmes imitated and running including the National Educational Fund, free education programme in 33 federal tertiary institutions, including free tuition, feeding, accommodation, and monthly stipends.

He said: “President Tinubu’s tenure has been characterized by a profound commitment to empowering the youth and addressing the socio-economic challenges that have long hindered their progress.

“His visionary policies and initiatives have yielded tangible results, showcasing his unwavering dedication to the welfare and development of Nigeria’s-young-population.

“One of the hallmark achievements of President Tinubu’s administration is the establishment of NELFUND, a bold initiative aimed at providing accessible financial support to students. This programme has opened doors of opportunity for countless young Nigerians, enabling them to pursue their educational aspirations without the burden-of-financial-constraints.

“Furthermore, the Skill Acquisition Programmes launched under President Tinubu’s leadership have equipped young Nigerians with the necessary skills and competencies to thrive in an increasingly competitive job market. These programmes have not only enhanced employability but also fostered entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the-youth.

“The recent introduction of the Free Education programmes in 33 Federal Science and Technical Colleges across the country is a testament to President Tinubu’s commitment to investing in the future of Nigeria’s youth.

“The provision of free tuition, feeding, accommodation, and monthly stipends has removed significant barriers to quality education, empowering students to focus on their academic pursuits without undue hardship.”

Meanwhile, he said the President within two years of his administration has flagged off long awaited critical infrastructural projects to open up the socioeconomic lives of Nigerians as these projects link them for economic activities and unity.

“In addition to these initiatives, President Tinubu’s administration has made significant strides in settling the ₦100 billion SUKUK loans and IMF loans, demonstrating his commitment to responsible fiscal management and prudent economic stewardship.

“The ongoing construction of the Coastal Highway from Lagos to Calabar, spanning over seven states, and the Badagry to Sokoto Federal Highway project, are just a few examples of the administration’s efforts to improve infrastructure and stimulate economic growth”, he said.

He also maintained that, “The Tinubu Young Generation Forum is proud to have a leader who is dedicated to correcting the historical injustices and unfavorable economic policies that have hindered the progress of Nigeria’s youth. President Tinubu’s leadership has been a beacon of hope for many young Nigerians who have been marginalized and disenfranchised-for-far-too-long.

“As President Tinubu marks his second year in office, TYGF prays for his continued good health and strength to steer the ship of state towards a brighter future. We envision a Nigeria where our youth can thrive, proud of their heritage and confident in their ability-to-shape-the-nation’s-future.
