It is double celebration for one of Nigeria’s pioneering institutions as she commemorates seven decades of shaping young minds, while announcing a fun-filled event to celebrate Children’s Day while fostering play and bonding.

Corona School, a leading educational institution, marks a significant milestone – its 70th anniversary. Since its inception in 1955, Corona School has been at the forefront of providing quality education, shaping the minds of future leaders, and fostering a culture of excellence.

To commemorate this achievement and celebrate Children’s Day, Corona School is hosting a Fun Day event on May 31st, 2025. The event aims to promote play, laughter, bonding, and socialization among students, teachers, parents and wellwishers.

The Fun Day event will feature a range of exciting activities, including games, sports, raffle draw , and entertainment. The event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees, say the organisers.

According to the Principal of Corona School VI, Mrs Olatain Shagoolu, the 70th-anniversary celebration is a testament to Corona’s commitment to providing well-rounded education that goes beyond academics. “We are proud of our legacy and look forward to continuing to shape the minds of future leaders”, she said.
