The National Association of Nigerian Students NANS, has endorsed Alhaji Jimoh Isola Ejigbadero as the chairmanship candidate for Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, Lagos State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The student body made its position known in a statement by the National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Adeyemi Samson Ajasa.

The association said it based its support on the long-standing record of support for student bodies by Ejigbadero.

“This endorsement is not only timely but deeply rooted in the unwavering commitment Alhaji Ejigbadero has consistently demonstrated toward youth empowerment, student development, and educational support across the constituency. His long-standing record of support to student bodies, scholarship initiatives, youth mentorship, and grassroots mobilization reflects his passion for the growth and future of young people.

“As he aspires to lead the good people of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, we are hopeful and confident that Alhaji Ejigbadero will deepen his engagement with the student constituency. We look forward to a future of strengthened collaboration where students remain integral to policy formulation, empowerment programmes, and decision-making processes at the grassroots level.

“NANS believes that his chairmanship will usher in a renewed era of educational development, youth inclusiveness, and sustained partnership with student-led organizations. We remain optimistic that his leadership will provide a platform for students to thrive, contribute meaningfully to local governance, and access opportunities for growth and advancement.

“NANS stands firmly by leaders who prioritize education, inclusion, and youth-oriented development, and we believe Alhaji Ejigbadero embodies these ideals. His proven leadership, accessibility, and community-based service make him the most credible candidate to move Agbado Oke-Odo forward.

“We urge all youths, students, and progressives within the LCDA to rally support behind this visionary leader who has always stood with us. It is time to stand with him as he aspires to serve at a greater capacity.
