APC Chieftain Hon. George Ogaga has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the appointment of Elder Omeni Sobotie as the Chairman, governing board, Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research.

Speaking to newsmen in Delta State, Hon. George Ogaga described Elder Omeni Sobotie as an exceptional leader and proud son of Urhobo land, whose service to the nation has continued to reflect integrity, vision, and commitment to the advancement of his people.

His career includes contributions at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC). He was also a Commissioner for Environment in Delta State.
