A constituent in Enugu East/ Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency, Mr. Hyacinth Ikemba Anike has lauded his representative in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Prof Paul Nnamchi for his exhibition of statesmanship and delivery on legislative mandate.

Anike said that Nnamchi has been active both in the plenary and committee functions, citing numerous bills he has sponsored in the less than 18 months of entrance and attraction constituency projects that are all dear to the constituents.

He stated that despite the fact that Nnamchi is not a ranking member of the House, he has been able to print his feet in legislative processes of the National Assembly and argued that the constituency has not has it so good.

“Hon. Prof. Paul Nnamchi’s response to the 2027 election question embodies the spirit of statesmanship. When asked about his plans for the upcoming election, he humbly replied that he was more concerned about fulfilling his campaign promises and satisfying his constituents than thinking about the next election.

“This statement speaks volumes about his priorities and dedication to the people he serves. As the representative of Enugu East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, Prof. Nnamchi has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong work ethic.

“His notable achievements in the National Assembly include sponsoring almost forty Bills and numerous motions aimed at strengthening our democracy and impacting the lives of the citizens. He has also attracted impactful projects, such as building and rehabilitating schools buildings and many other projects.

“Prof. Nnamchi’s focus on the present and his commitment to delivering on his promises are admirable. Rather than getting distracted by future elections, he prioritizes the needs of his people. This approach is a refreshing change from typical political rhetoric and demonstrates his genuine interest in serving the public,” Anike eulogized.
