They spoke at the 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69).
The event, which was held at the United Nations Headquarters, event brought together global leaders, policymakers, and changemakers committed to advancing women’s empowerment, economic inclusion, and leadership opportunities.
Throughout CSW69, the stakeholders participated in high-level discussions under the GEPS (Global Economic Priority Strategy) Global Ambassadors Think Tank. They focused on economic empowerment for women through financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and investment opportunities; hunger solutions and food security with gender-responsive agricultural policies.
They also called for strategic policymaking to ensure women’s representation in governance and leadership.
In addition, they called for the strengthening of international alliances for sustainable gender-driven initiatives.
A significant outcome of the event was the GEPS Toolkit & Pact of the Future for Women and Girls, a comprehensive framework for global gender advocacy and policy implementation.
