Organized by Teens’ Best Friend, Mrs. Uzezi Uduefe-Ideho, the conference themed ‘Recalibrate’ brought together over 1,300 teenagers for coaching and mentorship by seasoned experts.

According to Mrs. Uzezi Uduefe-Ideho, this critical phase of a teenager’s life is strategic, as the decisions they make now significantly impact their future. The annual conference aims to improve the lives of teenagers, which, in turn, benefits families and the community.

She emphasized, ‘When a teenager is empowered, the future is empowered, as teenagers are the future leaders.’

Conference highlights included: A student graphic designer, who creates designs using his phone, received a brand-new laptop.

Winners of a business competition pitch received cash prizes of ₦50,000, ₦30,000, and ₦20,000, encouraging creativity and wealth generation.

The launch of the Leading Giants Trust Fund, which provides financial support for underprivileged teenagers’ school fees, educational materials, and skill development.

To sustain and expand this initiative, Mrs. Uduefe-Ideho called on government agencies, corporate organizations, and brands to support the Purposeful Teen Conference and the Leading Giants Trust Fund. She emphasized that collaborative efforts are necessary to empower teenagers and shape the future of the nation.

The Purposeful Teen Conference continues to inspire and equip teenagers to become purpose-driven leaders and change-makers.
