The Edo state governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has announced the appointment of Dr Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor as Director General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency.

Dr Ogboro-Okor, erstwhile female guber contender in the 2024 Edo polls, is a UK based Gynecologist and Medical Simulation Expert who has made an indelible mark in medical practice both within and outside the country.

She looks forward to using her vast experience in humanitarian work in this role, particularly in investigating illegal migration, human trafficking and contemporary slavery.

In a statement issued by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., the Secretary to the Edo State Government also revealed she is the Lead of the Edo Diaspora Working Group and the Edo State Focus Group Worldwide.
