The Coalition of Sokoto State Concerned Youth Associations has pleaded with Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, to release the annual Ramadan welfare package to ease sufferings during the holy month.

It noted that the welfare package, which is usually released through the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, is being expected by youths across the state.

This was stated in a statement by the Secretary of the group, Comrade Yahuza Nasiru Gobir.

The statement reads: “We write on behalf of the entire Youth Association in Sokoto State to first of all congratulate His Excellency, Dr. Ahmed Aliyu, Sokoto Executive Governor, for witnessing this year’s holy month of Ramadan 1446/2025, and also commend and appreciate him for the numerous gestures done to different categories of people across the state. May Almighty God reward you abundantly.”

“Your Excellency, we deem it necessary to remind you of the annual gesture to support the less privileged during the holy month of Ramadan.”
